The event was a resounding success, attracting 2,255 participants from various ASEAN countries through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is an international organisation established by the governments of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand in 1967 to accelerate economic growth, social progress, and cultural development and to promote peace and security in Southeast Asia. Brunei joined in 1984, followed by Vietnam in 1995, Laos and Myanmar in 1997, and Cambodia in 1999. East Timor has been granted observer status and is expected to become a full member in 2025.

Ambassador Seam emphasised the importance of educational exchange in strengthening ASEAN-EU relations. Following this, Destriani Nugroho, Project Manager for Education, Youth, and Culture at the Delegation of the European Union to ASEAN, provided an insightful overview of the Erasmus+ programme in ASEAN, highlighting its impact and opportunities for students.

The event's highlight was the comprehensive information session on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) scholarship. The breakout sessions fostered a sense of community and provided a platform for participants to network and learn from each other.

The event concluded with a fun and interactive Kahoot! Quiz, brought all participants back to the general assembly. The quiz not only tested their knowledge but also added an element of excitement and camaraderie to the session.
