The EU Commission organised a 3-days online event from 10 to 12 October to launch the Erasmus National Focal Points (ENFP). This newly set up network is composed of education experts who are, mainly, from ministries of education across the world in countries not covered by the existing National Erasmus+ Agencies or National Erasmus+ Offices. Participants discussed future cooperation and attended workshops dedicated to the different international Erasmus+ actions.
The workshop about Erasmus Mundus took place on 12 October. Our President (ad interim) Dr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman talked about EMA and our worldwide activities, followed by the presentation of Ms. Dagmar Höpcke, EACEA Project Adviser from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
ENFPs are precious actors in promoting Erasmus+ projects and activities in their countries towards higher education institutions and also towards the students who are our most interested target group. In his speech, Dr. Ashiqur emphasized how EMA can assist ENFPs and work together to strengthen our common goal of promoting Erasmus+ actions at national and local levels. He also presented several recent inspiring activities that EMA Country Representatives and volunteers carried out at the national level.
