EMA Hosts Informative Webinar on Blue Book Traineeships

The Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association's (EMA) Professional Development Sub-unit hosted a valuable webinar on August 14th, 2024, focused on the European Commission's Blue Book Traineeship.

The event featured Carlos Terán, a former Blue Book Trainee and current EU professional, who shared his expert knowledge and provided invaluable insights into the application process, just ahead of the fast-approaching August 30th deadline. He is also an active EMA volunteer, part of the Outreach and Capacity Building Unit where he works as Country Representative for Spain.

The Blue Book traineeships are prestigious, paid opportunities that allow participants to immerse themselves in the workings of the European Commission, whether through an Administrative or Translation Traineeship. This program is known for its inclusivity, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds, and providing a comprehensive experience that includes everything from project management to translation tasks.

The webinar's success underscores the Professional Development Sub-unit's commitment to fostering growth and learning among EMA members. With future events, including a session on the Schuman Traineeship, already in the works, this webinar marks a significant step forward in EMA's professional development initiatives.
