The Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association is now part of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe Youth4Health network!
The Youth4Health network aims to facilitate meaningful youth engagement and participation in the development and implementation of WHO/Europe’s work on health and well-being issues that are important to young people and impact their health and social outcomes. It was launched in 2023 as WHO/Europe’s first-ever youth network.
On the 1st of November, 2024, EMA received official confirmation from Dr Hans Henn P. Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, informing us of our successful application to join the Youth4Health network. Members of the Y4H network have different opportunities to engage with the WHO Regional Office for Europe through events, the development of campaigns, and publications. They could be invited to join collaboration groups on various health and well-being topics.
Admissions to the network are rolling. All youth organizations, organizations working in the youth space, Member State youth delegates, youth activists, people with an interest and experience in health and well-being, and youth parliamentarians are encouraged to apply if they are based in the WHO European Region and between the ages of 10 and 30 years.
