The Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) President, Dr Md Ashiqur Rahman, actively participated in the "All Together for European Elections 2024: Partner Network Event" in Brussels from October 4 to 5, 2023. This significant gathering, organized by the European Parliament, was attended by over 150 representatives from various organizations spanning the European landscape, fostering an engaging dialogue on strategies to enhance participation in the upcoming EU Elections.
Attendees found themselves immersed in a series of workshops and presentations meticulously orchestrated by the dedicated staff of the European Parliament. These informative sessions offered profound insights into the European Parliament's vision for the upcoming elections. Moreover, participants received comprehensive guidance on utilizing the "Together EU" platform, an innovative tool designed to acquaint registered individuals with events organized by the European Parliament and its affiliated partners within their geographical regions. Additionally, the event served as a platform to introduce the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) to fellow participants and informed the remarkable outcomes of several projects led by EMA in conjunction with numerous European partner organizations, including universities, EMJM programs, NGOs, and foundations, among others.
Beyond the exchange of ideas and experiences surrounding EMA activities and project achievements, the event facilitated a unique opportunity for organizations to acquaint themselves with each other's campaigns, explore potential synergies, and lay the groundwork for future collaborative ventures. EMA's president expressed his confidence in these possible partnerships, emphasizing their potential to substantially transform the approach to youth engagement in the European Elections of 2024.
