The Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association (EMA) welcomed the new edition of the Master of Science in Geospatial Technologies. The online session took place on 18th July and marked a significant milestone for the incoming Geotech students.
Abran Idrees, EMA Programme Representative for Geotech, organised the event. It was more than just an introduction; it was a celebration of community and shared experiences. New students were introduced to the vibrant Geotech community, including current students and esteemed alumni, who emphasised the importance of building relationships early in the academic journey. The goal was clear: build lasting connections and provide the new cohort with a support system to thrive.
Through engaging conversations and Q&A sessions, the incoming students had the opportunity to seek guidance and advice from those who had already walked the path. The event was a success, thanks to the contributions and enthusiasm of everyone involved.
As we look forward to the new academic year, we are excited to see our new Geotech students grow and achieve their goals. Welcome aboard, and best of luck on this exciting new chapter!
