Embarking on Excellence: EMA Welcomes EMJM Intake of 2023

A new generation of Erasmus Mundus students is ready to begin their global education and collaboration journey. The Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA) wants to welcome the incoming students of 2023 with an event scheduled for August 24, 2023, from 15:00 - 16:30 hs CEST, called "Embarking on Excellence: Welcome EMJM Intake of 2023."

This virtual event will bridge geographical gaps, allowing the international cohort to join in from different corners of the world as it unfolds live on YouTube. EMA's Outreach and Capacity Building Unit designed the gathering to provide our future EMA scholars with an insightful introduction to Erasmus Mundus and promises to enrich the incoming EMJM students' understanding of the road ahead. Here's what awaits them:

Immersion in the EMA Community

Diving into the vibrant EMA community, students will be given a glimpse of how EMA fosters a sense of belonging and mutual growth among its members.

Unveiling the EMJM Journey

The event will offer an exclusive insider's view of the EMJM journey, unveiling the program's uniqueness and its potential to shape academic and professional futures.

Insights from Keynote Speakers

Distinguished guest speakers from the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission will share their perspectives on the pivotal role of Erasmus Mundus in the broader context of European education and international collaboration.

Learning from EMA Leaders

A panel featuring the EMA President, Vice President, and proactive EMA volunteers, each representing diverse corners of the world, will offer students the opportunity to learn from those who have walked this path before. Their experiences, advice, and responses to student questions will offer valuable guidance.

Interactive Engagement and Networking

This networking opportunity aims to encourage students to engage, ask questions, and connect with their peers. It wants to facilitate cross-cultural connections that will undoubtedly enhance the EMJM experience.

"Embarking on Excellence: Welcome EMJM Intake of 2023" is more than just an event; it's a symbol of the dedication and vision that the Erasmus Mundus program stands for.
