You know that feeling when you realize that you are in the right place at the right time!
My passion to host people and to provide them good company grew on me and made me a student of Wine Tourism Innovation, an Erasmus Mundus masters program.
My first steps abroad lead me to Milan, where I spend six months meeting young adults like me trying to find their place out there.
The new cultures and languages awaken the explorer in me and inspired me to travel and discover more.
Soon, I started inviting my peers to organize different activities. I still remember the first wine tasting meetup I organized with my Erasmus friends, a group of twenty-four cheerful students barely able to fit in my tiny room. From the busy academic schedules to the simple meals that I enjoyed with my classmates, there was always something new to learn. Interaction with a batch of nineteen different nationalities and moving through three different countries made me the person I am today, pleasant and outgoing. I mastered the art of dealing with people from various regional backgrounds and ended up organizing my own wine tours in Portuguese wine regions.
The Erasmus Mundus experience made me fall in love with my path and I feel married to my passion now. I have developed a life-long friendship with the attendees of my wine tours, from all over the world. This is by far the best I could have asked for from my Erasmus life.
