Project Summary:

The "Sustainability Leadership Training" is an innovative and transformative program aimed at empowering Erasmus students, faculty, and Alumni with the knowledge and skills required to become leaders in sustainable strategies and practices. The training is designed to address the pressing global challenges related to sustainability and equip participants with the necessary tools to create positive impacts within their communities and beyond.

Sustainability Leadership Training in Tourism

Contributing to the European Year of Skills, this year’s Sustainability Leadership workshop will be focused on tourism practices and leadership. Facilitated by industry experts - Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) leading body of tourism accreditation & certification,  advising destinations and tourism businesses on sustainability strategies. The immersive training equips participants with essential green and digital skills. By fostering knowledge enhancement and promoting sustainable practices, this training cultivates leaders who will drive positive change in the tourism industry. Around 25 participants will be joining us on this journey and unlocking the potential to shape a more sustainable future.

The workshop will be run in partnership with ISCTE Business School, renowned for its excellence in the field of tourism. We will collaboratively deliver the training program to ISCTE Business School and Erasmus+ students and Alumni. The workshop offers exclusive scholarship grants to selected individuals to the transformative workshop taking place on the 7th and 8th of September at ISCTE Business School in Lisbon. Selected participants will embark on an unparalleled journey of personal and academic growth, honing their green, innovative, sustainable and digital skills in the tourism industry while gaining invaluable insights from industry experts. As a member of this elite cohort, you will emerge as a trailblazer, equipped to lead sustainable practices in the tourism industry.
